Prolog WebSite Admin
When detaching databases from Prolog
Manager Administrator and setting the "List All Projects" option to No
in Prolog WebSite Admin, several projects in attached databases may
not have been listed when a user logged on to Prolog WebSite. This
issue has been resolved. (10208)
In System Setup Page One, you can now type the
Admin name to be used in the From line when a system email is sent
from Prolog WebSite. (18067)
Date Format
Prolog WebSite now uses your Windows regional
settings for date and time formatting. This resolves a number of
issues including the inability to add Drawings and Specifications
revisions, improper record dating, and record filtering problems.
(14832, 13723, 13750, 13751, 13983, 19827)
Document Management
-
Users can now use Version Control to keep track of
all the versions of a file that are uploaded to Document Management.
Use the Administration section in Prolog WebSite to turn on Version
Control for each project. When using Version Control, server storage
capacity needs may increase. For more information, see "Using Version
Control" in the Prolog WebSite Help system.
-
When setting permissions in Document Management,
folder permissions can be propagated to subfolders and files. When
uploading a file, the file takes its permissions from the folder to
which it is uploaded. Uses can either leave the permissions or change
the permissions to suit their needs. For more information, see
"Granting Folder Permissions" and "Granting File Permissions" in the
Prolog WebSite Help system.
-
Document Management no longer uses Project Document
permissions. All permissions in Document Management are either folder
permissions or file permissions. For more information, see "Document
Management Permissions" in the Prolog WebSite Help system.
-
The Prolog Manager "Admin" user can now act as the
Document Management administrator. In Prolog Manager, the "Admin" user
can open Document Management and have full control to all the
contents. Note that the "Admin" user cannot log on to Prolog WebSite.
For more information, see "Document Management Permissions" in the
Prolog WebSite Help system.
-
To easily locate a specific folder or file,
Document Management now provides a Find feature. In the Find feature,
type in the text for the file or folder. Document Management displays
any items matching the criterion and lets users click the item to go
to it. For more information, see "Finding Folders in Document
Management" and "Finding Files in Document Management".
-
When uploading files, the Number box in the File
Upload Wizard may have set the number for multiple files to 19. This
limit was due to the Numeric Formatting for this box. For any newly
created projects, the Numeric Formatting is now set to three. To
change the Numeric Formatting for this box, in Prolog Manager's
Numeric Formatting, change the "Prolog WebSite Document Management"
option. (20655)
-
The performance associated with uploading files has
been significantly increased. (20984)
-
By default, the Project Specific - Numeric
Formatting setting for Document Management is now set to 3 characters
instead of 0 for all new projects. This resolves several issues
involving improper numbering of Document Management files. For
existing projects, users should manually change this setting to 3
characters. For more information, see "Setting the Numeric Formatting
Option" in the Prolog Manager Help system. (20344, 20655)
-
When uploading a file over an existing Document
Management file, the upload may not have completed. This issue has
been resolved. (20099)
Drawings and Specifications
-
The "Optional Sort Number" box has been added to
the Drawings and Specifications form and can now be used to filter
Drawings and Specifications reports. (13231)
-
When running Prolog WebSite in German Windows, some
users may have been unable to add a revision to a Drawings and
Specifications record. This issue has been resolved. (13750)
Meetings
RFI
-
The RFI form now uses
the Created Date and Address RFI To fields as the required fields.
This feature uses the same required fields as
Prolog Manager's RFI form. (10910, 19098)
-
A new Data Group permission, "To Contact", has been
added to the "Request for Information - Routing" data group. This
permission controls access to the "Address RFI To" box in Prolog
WebSite. Previously, access to this box was determined by the "Request
for Information\RFI\Number" Data Group permission. (10542, 11644)
